On Jan. 17 at 8 a.m., the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and the Department of Communication and Journalism in partnership with The Council on Workforce Innovation and National Organization for Workforce Diversity will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the annual MLK Diversity Breakfast in the university’s Ezell Center.
Following the MLK Diversity Breakfast, Hughes will speak in Lipscomb’s MASK chapel at 10:55 in Shamblin Theatre and is open to all students.
This year’s MLK Diversity Breakfast features the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County Mayor’s Office, Ashford Hughes.
