44th Annual Christian High School Choral Festival

44th Annual Christian High School Choral Festival is in the past.

Lipscomb University's School of Music presents its 44th Annual Christian High School Choral Festival on Monday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. in Lipscomb's Collins Alumni Auditorium. Approximately 250 high school singers from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee will meet for two days of rehearsals that culminate in this final concert. Clinician/conductor for the grand choir is Dr. John Yarrington, past president of the Southwest Division of the American Choral Directors Association and former chair of the School of Music at Houston Baptist University. 

The concert program includes: 
Sing Me To Heaven, by Dan Gawthrop?
I Will Not Leave You Comfortless, by William Byrd 

Followers of the Lamb, arr. by Philip Dietterich

Exsultate Deo, by Alessandro Scarlatti

In honor of Veterans Day, the concert will conclude with an arrangement of America the Beautiful. Veterans and their families are invited and will be special guests for the concert.
