A special kick-off reception will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Paul Rogers Board Room in the Ezell Center for those who are interested in participating in the Lifelong Learning program.
This year's Lifelong Learning program begins its first session on Aug. 28, and ends Oct. 2. The second session will run Oct. 16 through Nov. 17. Courses in the first session include "The Other Side of Sports;" "God's Word for Warriors," "Martin Luther and the 95 Theses: The Protestant Reformation," "The Great American Songbook, Part 2: The Great Craftsmen and Lesser-Known Hit Makers;" "Jack and Tollers (C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien): Fellow Witnesses, Bards and 'Lovers of our Lord'" and "The Master Gardener Series."
Registration is now open. Space is limited, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
