Summer Celebration Family Picnic and Fireworks

Summer Celebration Family Picnic and Fireworks is in the past.

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, July 2, at the Summer Celebration Family Picnic and community worship service, 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The festival features a professional fireworks display, free games and inflatables for children and live entertainment by the Annie Moses Band.

Activities begin at 5 p.m. with a family picnic and a “Kid’s Zone,” including games and crafts for children in the Allen Arena mall area. Food will be available for purchase.

  • The community worship service, at 6:30 p.m., in Allen Arena will feature messages by Jonathan Storment and Randy Harris and artwork by Rolando Diaz.
  • Theater Games for children in grades three through five will be offered during the worship service (pre-registration required).
  • The Annie Moses Band will perform at the Allen Bell Tower beginning at 8:30 p.m.
  • A professional fireworks display begins at approximately 9 p.m.
