STOMPFEST_1Since 2010, Lipscomb has held its annual Stompfest during the school’s fall semester. This year’s event include participation from several of Lipscomb’s social clubs along with other student groups on campus who develop their own routines and themes to showcase at Stompfest.

This year’s Stompfest will be directed by Antonisha McIntosh, a senior majoring in Biology. Assisting McIntosh are fellow students Jackie Herrera, Mason Borneman, Kiandra Hawkins, Claudae Goodrich and Jocelyn Hernandez. As director, McIntosh will ensure that all of the behind-the-scenes work is completed prior to show time, that the show’s technological aspects are set in place and that all of the teams scheduled are prepared and ready to perform at their scheduled time.

“The participants, clubs and volunteers work extremely hard to ensure the success of the show and make it enjoyable for all those in attendance and involved with Stompfest,” she said.

Keandra Golden, interim coordinator of African-American Student Services at Lipscomb, is involved in the fostering and creation of relationships within the Lipscomb and surrounding communities with students, faculty and staff. She also aids in supporting its African-American students in programming efforts that make impacts campus-wide and addressing concerns related to the academic, social, spiritual and personal development of our campus community.

STOMPFEST_2Golden and McIntosh share in their excitement and enthusiasm for Stompfest.
