Ronald Roberts to headline Media Masters Speaker Series, Jan. 29

Roberts_LARGELipscomb University’s Media Masters Speaker Series welcomes Ronald Roberts, managing partner and chief executive officer of DVL Seigenthaler, for a lecture on Monday, Jan. 29, at 5 p.m. in Lipscomb's Ezell Center, room 301. 

Hosted by the Department of Communication and Journalism, a question-and-answer session will immediately follow Roberts’ lecture. This event is free and open to the Lipscomb community, and pizza will be provided.

As the managing partner and CEO of DVL Seigenthaler, Roberts oversees the day-to-day management of the agency and directs the firm’s short-and-long-range plans.

Certified by the Institute for Crisis Management, Roberts has participated in extensive crisis management for clients throughout the country. He has also managed corporate and crisis communications, media relations, message strategy and development, event management and executive image management for many of DVL Seigenthaler’s clients, in addition to leading the media and message training practice group. He joined DVL Seigenthaler as an assistant account executive after working at The Nashville Network and Middle Tennessee State University.

Roberts is a member of the Board of Directors for the 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, the Nashville Downtown Rotary Club, the Nashville Sports Council, the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville and Citizens Bank & Trust, and is the co-chair of the Mayor’s Council on Gender Equity.
