Lipscomb University’s marketing program was recently named one of the top 50 programs in the nation by College Choice as part of its 2017 Best Bachelor’s in Marketing ranking.

College Choice, a leading authority in college and university rankings and resources, measured the ranking according to each program's academic reputation alongside its average return on investment. The sources for this information came from a variety of publicly accessible records, including a nationwide survey published by the Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA, U.S. News & World Report, the National Center for Education Statistics and PayScale.com.

Housed in the College of Business, which is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, Lipscomb’s bachelor’s degree in marketing provides students the full complement of conceptual and quantitative courses needed to prepare for marketing positions in business. Marketing majors can choose to concentrate studies in one of four areas including corporate marketing, digital marketing, marketing for entrepreneurs and professional sales.

One of only 50 universities across the nation included in the list, Lipscomb was named among other top schools including the University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington, Villanova University, Clemson University and Syracuse University.

This is just the latest recognition Lipscomb has received for its quality and excellence.

The Carnegie Foundation recently classified Lipscomb as a doctoral university, placing it among 7 percent of schools nationwide. As a result, for the first time in school history, Lipscomb was ranked as a national university in the annual U.S. News & World Report’s “2017 America’s Guide to Colleges.”

The College of Business’ undergraduate program was ranked one of the top 100 in the nation by Bloomberg Businessweek in its Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2016 ranking, and The College of Business’ Master of Business Administration program was ranked among the 74 best in the nation by Bloomberg Businessweek in 2015.

In addition, for the third year in a row, Lipscomb University has been named to the Kiplinger Personal Finance list of 100 best values in private universities.

The university’s summer programs, Bible college, biology program, visual arts major, human resources degree, education college and veterans services programs have all been ranked nationally by higher education organizations in various disciplines.
