A college within a university within a great community.

Collaboration College is a yearlong opportunity for nonprofit organizations, as well as public and private partners, to benefit by combining their respective strengths to create greater community good and to learn, practice and be supported in that effort.
Join us on October 21, 2014 for Collaboration 101 - From Collaboration to Collective Impact: Principles, Case Studies, and Best Practices -  to kick off Collaboration College 2.0. The day-long conference will feature both nationally recognized and locally acclaimed speakers, and offer attendees a variety of perspectives by nonprofit  collaboration experts. Participants will better understand various models - from collaboration to collective impact!
After Collaboration 101, participants will have the opportunity to be a part of Collaborative Connections to explore potential collaborations and collective impact initiatives and choose whether they would like to apply for the year-long Collaboration College 2.0 program.  Six teams will be selected to complete Collaboration College 2.0, benefiting from Collaboration 201 - Skills and Competencies Building Workshops and specialized consulting provided by c3, HCA, and North Highland Consulting.  With coaching and support, each team will develop a presentation of its collaboration or collective impact initiative.  A panel of judges will select the best initiatives to receive financial awards granted by Baptist Healing Trust and The HCA Foundation.

Collaboration College is, itself, collaboration.

Collaboration College is intended to be a rigorous and challenging opportunity hosted by four entities deeply involved in community building. The HCA Foundation, Baptist Healing Trust, The Center for Nonprofit Management, and Lipscomb University have come together, sharing resources and expertise, to stimulate and support new collaborations among our community’s nonprofit organizations.  Consultants from c3, HCA, and North Highland Consulting will provide invaluable resources to Collaboration College participants, as well.
