Throughout the year, there are a number of opportunities where we need parent volunteers to help events be successful! If you're interested in helping support the school as a volunteer, please click the button below to see a list of opportunities and to sign up!
Welcome to Lipscomb Academy! We understand that you may have many questions as you begin, and our entire team is here to help you along the way. This page wll be actively maintained with information you may find helpful. We also welcome you to contact Jennifer Watson (PreK-4), Jessica Williams (5-8), or Melissa Miller (9-12) with any specific questions.
Where can I get a student ID and parking decal?
Student ID's and parking decals can be made/picked up anytime during normal business hours 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Security Office located in the basement of Elam. Security will also be on campus August 16 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Multi Media to make ID's and hand out parking decals. To obtain a parking decal, you will need your L#, year, make, model and color of your vehicle as well as the license plate tag information.
Who can help with tuition/billing questions?
Each family will receive tuition information from the business office. If you have any questions regarding payment of tuition and setting up your account on Touchnet, please call 615.966.1778 (You will need the student's ID number to complete Touchnet registration.
Who can can help with class schedules?
All middle and high school parents will have the opportunity to meet with their school counselors listed below to discuss academic schedules for the 2017-2018 school year. In the elementary school, Keri Sweeny will send the name of your child's teacher. Please feel free to contact any of these individuals with for genera; academic questions/ Please contact the class teacher for course-specific questions.
What is the school dress code?
We understand that what your child wears to school can be stressful! At Lipscomb Academy all students where an assigned school uniform. Shirts are available through Parker School Uniforms at 204 Ward Cir #400, Brentwood, TN 37027. Boys in grades PreK-6 can wear khaki pants or shorts with boys in grades 7-12 required to wear khaki pants. Girls in grades PreK-12 can wear our school skirt or khaki pants. Students can wear dress shoes or tennis shoes but open-toed shoes are not allowed. We also offer a variety of outerwear options in the Mustang Marketplace. Where can I purchase a meal plan?
Lipscomb Academy offers a variety of meal plan options to our students. To learn more and to purchase a meal plan, please click here. Students are encouraged to pay with cash until their meal plan is activated, which could take 2-3 days.
How do I get textbooks for my student?
Lipscomb Academy has partnered with Tree of Life Book Bookstores for its middle and high school textbook and course content materials. Tree of Life will deliver all course content to your student on the first day of school. If any changes are made to your student's schedule, new course content will be delivered directly to your home along with a package slip to return the unneeded items. The flat rate is $65 per middle school student and $225 per high school student. For high school students, please note that course material for any Lipscomb Univeristy courses will need to be purchased through the Lipscomb University Bookstore. Does Lipscomb Academy offer summer camps?
Yes! Each summer, we offer more than 60 camps for students of all ages during our Summer Experience camps. Camp information will be released sometime in December. Space is limited and camps fill up quickly, so be sure to check out our offerings before it's too late! This year we had nearly 1,200 Summer Experience registrations!
