Intercultural Development Organizations

Professional association for Latino college students. Provides career readiness, networking, internships and mentoring, as well as social functions.

W.E.B. Du Bois Intercultural Honor Society. Invitation-only group , open to second year students with a 3.3 GPA or higher with service projects and honor cords at graduation.

Indian Student Association. Experience and learn about Indian culture through monthly meetings and events such as cultural dance, Henna night, and authentic food.

Kappa Iota Theta. Black Student Association. Sponsors diversity and culturally engaging activities including Stomp Fest, Black History Month, Open Mic Night, and cultural conversations.

LIS (Lambda Iota Theta)
Lipscomb International Students. Promotes leadership and campus events celebrating the many cultures on our diverse campus and community.

League of United Latin American Citizens. Teaches students participation in the political process including voter registration drives, meetings and travel to Washington D.C. for annual conference.

Intercultural Mentorship Program. A mentorship program that pairs OID freshmen with upperclassmen, alumni, faculty or staff to provide support and networking opportunities.

MASK Chapel
Weekly breakout chapel focusing on diversity and cultural competency, open to all students.

Southern Word
Spoken word club. Performance poetry group conducts spoken word workshops, open mic and shows, promotes literacy, and provides leadership tools.

Leadership development team th at provides leadership training and plans our annual WOW (Welcome to Our Worlds) Week.

ASA (African Student Association)
Experience and learn about African culture through monthly meetings, authentic food, and events.
