Lipscomb alumni, family and friends in the Huntsville area are invited to attend an interactive experience showcasing how Lipscomb University is training leaders to meet 21st century challenges. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m., Nov. 18, at the Huntsville Botanical Garden in Huntsville, Alabama.
Observe firsthand how a computerized patient simulator is used in training future leaders in health care. See a 3-D printer in action. Watch Tom Bancroft, Disney animator and artist-in-residence with the George Shinn College of Entertainment and the Arts, work on his next creation. Hear Lipscomb's new basketball coach Lennie Acuff break down game film.
In addition, you'll hear an exciting university update from Lipscomb University President Dr. L. Randolph Lowry.
As part of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to end their evening with a walk through the botanical garden’s annual Galaxy of Lights as Lipscomb's guests!
