Due to the constraints of COVID-19, this program has been rescheduled for October 10-11.
This two-day CE program will take place in the George Shinn Center. It is designed to assist pharmacists, student pharmacists preparing for the MPJE, and pharmacy technicians become more aware and compliant with federal and state laws and rules. It is designed to provide up to 16 hours of live continuing education credit.
Topics will include:
• DEA key concepts for the practicing pharmacist
• Presentations from investigators for the TN Board of Pharmacy
• Legal practice pearls
• New legislation and the basics of pharmacy practice
• Pharmacy ethics
• Keeping up to date with the Controlled Substance Monitoring Database
Cost (includes lunch both days):
Pharmacists: $175
Lipscomb alumni and preceptors: $150
Fourth-year student pharmacists: $50 (no CE credit)
Pharmacy technicians: $100
