Girls Build It

This free, two-day summer camp hosted by Turner Construction Company in partnership with Lipscomb Engineering will introduce high school women to career opportunities in construction management, engineering and trades.

Girls Build It Group

Participants will build a concrete lamp, tour a landmark construction project and meet the women who are building the future. Hands-on sessions will be led by Turner women in partnership with Lipscomb University. 

Why participate in Girls Build It? The program teaches girls about solving real-world problems, exploring exciting career opportunities and learning new technical skills. It also allows them to meet local women leaders, build their résumés, make new friends, develop their leadership skills and embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience to tour an active project site for a landmark building in Nashville.

All female high school students in Middle Tennessee are encouraged to apply. Rising juniors and seniors will receive priority acceptance. Applications must be submitted before May 25, 2020.
