Anxiety is one of the most common mental health problems in The United States. A good ability to cope with anxiety is key to resilience in the face of whatever life throws at us. However, experiencing it too much or too often means we risk becoming overwhelmed, unable to find balance in our lives, or to relax and recover. Our ability to find some inner peace has never been more important to our well-being. Andrea Mills, LPC/MHSP-S, director University Counseling Center, leads this class that will help you to understand and engage with students (and yourself) in regards to this common mental health issue.
