Professional Societies & Activities
The Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering encourages our students to become involved in a variety of extracurricular activities including membership and activity in student chapters of all three major professional societies (ASME, ASCE, and IEEE) as well as SWE and ASHRAE. We also partner with the Peugeot Center for Engineering Service for Developing Countries in exercising engineering skills to meet the needs of those less fortunate. Our students are also involved in other activities such as a Robotics Camp in the summer and assisting with hosting and judging the Music City BEST competition in the fall.
Further information on each of these activities can be found through the links to the left.
