Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Nordstrom has been an educator for nearly 20 years with faculty and research positions with the United States Air Force Academy, Vanderbilt University, and now Lipscomb University. He held management positions with the U.S. Air Force and the Institute for Software Integrated Systems at Vanderbilt. He is the Founder of the Lipscomb BisonBot summer robotics camp and a former Lipscomb faculty senate president. Nordstrom holds professional society memberships with IEEE (since 1999), IEEE Education Society (since 2006) and ASEE (since 2006). He brings 14 years industry experience to the classroom with projects of interest including imaging processing, software architecture, graphical- & textual- based metamodeling & modeling language development, and embedded systems development.
