Julie Stephens received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in 2007 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 2010. She went on to complete a pharmacy residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and a critical care specialty residency at Huntsville Hospital. While at Texas Tech, Stephens earned a teaching certificate and was appointed as an assistant clinical instructor. Stephens joined Lipscomb College of Pharmacy in 2012 as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice. She currently practices at TriStar Centennial Medical Center as a Critical Care specialist in the medical surgical intensive care unit (MSICU), rounding with a multidisciplinary team and precepting pharmacy students and residents. She holds board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS), as well as critical care (BCCCP).
