Dr. Elizabeth Murphy teaches graduate food systems. A long-time resident of Nashville, Dr. Murphy is the Executive Director of Nashville Grown, directing a local food hub, aggregating and delivering farm products to restaurants, chefs, and caterers in Nashville, from approximately 65 farms within 150 miles of Davidson County. From wild mushrooms to hydroponics to bacon and biodynamically grown vegetables, the NG network is well-known for quality and unique products coveted by James Beard Award winning chefs. Dr. Murphy is an experienced long-time litigator, licensed in California and Tennessee with expertise in complex land use, environmental and construction cases, as well as small business and contract disputes. land use conflicts, and water pollution.
