Earning her MFA from American University in Washington D.C., Mandy Rogers Horton also studied at Anderson University, (Indiana), The Queen’s University of Belfast and The Chautauqua Institute (New York).
Her work has been exhibited in Nashville, Louisville, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Madison, Wis. and elsewhere.
She is the recipient of Tennessee Arts Commission Professional Development Support Grant and a residency at The Vermont Studio Center. She is represented by The Arts Company, in Nashville where she lives with her husband, artist Rocky Horton and their three young children.
Her work has been featured in The Tennessean, Nashville Arts Magazine and The Nashville Scene.
Horton is a founding member of the Coop Gallery, a nonprofit curatorial collective in Nashville. For more than a decade she has taught a variety of art and art history courses at universities including Lipscomb University, Belmont University, and Middle Tennessee State University.
