Tamara Baird is originally from Henderson, Ky. Prior to starting her career in nursing, she earned her master’s degree in music theory from the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. After teaching music at the collegiate level, Baird moved to Nashville and completed her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Belmont University followed by her master of science in nursing informatics. Baird has eight years of experience working in simulation and is currently the simulation lab coordinator and instructor of nursing at Lipscomb University. Her professional interests include machine learning and artificial intelligence in health care. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, teaching piano, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.
