The seventh annual Lipscomb University Student Scholars Symposium was held April 12, 2018. All undergraduate and graduate students were invited to showcase their scholarly and creative works at this day-long symposium.
Alumnus Morgan Turner (’17) participated in the symposium presenting her master’s project work “The Fight Against Adverse Childhood Experiences.” The project, in partnership with Christian Community Services, Inc., focused on the organizations Mentoring Towards Independence (MTI) program. Morgan evaluated the focus of the MTI program and made suggestions for intentionally addressing ACEs. The recommendations have been accepted by the organization. Congratulations, Morgan! Great work!
