Aaron McGee Selected as Executive Director of Youth Life Foundation of Tennessee, Inc.

In January of 2015, Aaron McGee was selected as Executive Director of the Youth Life Foundation of Tennessee, Inc. In this role, McGee oversees the non-profit’s day-to-day operations, implements short- and long-term development strategies, and ensures programming delivers on excellence in academics, character building and commitment to community service. Aaron holds a B.S. degree in Speech Communication from Tennessee State University, and is a 2016 graduate from the College of Leadership and Public Service with his Master of Arts in Civic Leadership from Lipscomb University.

Aaron’s master's project titled “King 2 King” is still growing and implementing initiatives within the Nashville community to a target audience of men ages 18 - 40. His most recent projects are the “King 2 King Storytellers Series” and “King 2 King Presents, Daddy’s Home: A Tribute to Fatherhood."

The King 2 King Storytellers Series is a live event showcasing stories read by the men who authored them, related to lessons learned on what it means to be a man. This series is presented to give men (youth and seasoned) insight for developing the character and identity necessary to sustain a lifestyle of “Authentic Manhood.” (Release Date: Fall 2017)

Daddy’s Home is a series of video interviews featuring fathers from Nashville and surrounding Middle Tennessee areas. The purpose is to highlight the strength, love, and importance of fathering throughout the various stages of a child’s life. Through this project, King 2 King seeks to give the community an inside look into a “father’s heart.” (Release Date: Summer 2017)
