She'marica Jordan of Cohort 7 has taken a new position within NOAH (Nashville Organized for Action and Hope) as their PR/Social Media Committee Chair.
Jordan’s position at NOAH was created earlier this year, when the PR/Social Media Committee was formed. She enjoys coming up with creative ways to engage their audience.
Jordan says, “I am working to transform NOAH's presence on and offline. I am the youngest member on the Executive Committee, and I have learned how to be a better leader through example. As a civic leader, I hope to build more relationships between the older and younger generations. NOAH is 95% older people, and it is my goal to create a more inviting space for young people who have the same goal: to fight social injustice.”
It's exciting to see students and graduates of the Andrews Institute using their skills to bridge the differences that exist in our community. We congratulate She'marica on this new challenge!
