Key things to know about Lipscomb’s College of Entertainment & The Arts

  • The 5 Minute Film Festival was launched in 2014, encouraging students to use their creativity to tell compelling stories in five minutes or less.
  • The Theatre Department created the High School Musical Theatre Awards, honoring hundreds of students from 12 area high schools, with an all-day seminar and evening awards show recognizing the best performances
  • In early 2014, Lipscomb's film and creative media program partnered with Town Square Pictures, a full-service feature film production company, to work on "The Secret Handshake," a family comedy scheduled for a fall 2014 release.
