Lipscomb students invest in local refugee students through partnership with Nashville International Center for Empowerment
Throughout a partnership with the Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE), a community-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering refugees, as well as Nashville After Zone Alliance and McMurray Middle School, Lipscomb students from within the freshman-level SALT course have volunteered in the CRAZE after-school program and have taught environmental biology lessons to refugee middle school students at McMurray Middle School.

For the first time in university history, a group of five Lipscomb University students and one alumnus participated in the 31st annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research, a prestigious undergraduate conference that was held at the University of Memphis, April 6-8.
Lipscomb’s Starts with Soap chapter aims to enhance classroom experience for local school
On Thursday, March 30, from 8-10 p.m. the chapter will hold the first annual Starts with Soap Charity Concert. The concert will feature Lipscomb students Briston Maroney, Daves Highway, Nordista Freeze and Grant Parker. The concert will be held in Flatt Amphitheater and tickets can be purchased for $5 at the door.
Two biology students selected to participate in summer cancer research program at Vanderbilt
This summer, two students within Lipscomb’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences will have the opportunity to practice cancer research firsthand as part of the eight-week Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center: Discover Cancer Research Program.
