We offer courses at varying proficiency levels to meet your language needs.

Faculty and Instructors

Faculty and instructors are fully qualified in the field of teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), holding advanced degrees and qualifications in TESOL, ELL or ESL, and skilled in using effective teaching strategies.

Completion and Certificate

Upon completion of the program requirements, the university will issue a Certificate in English for Academic Purposes.

Lipscomb University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees. Additionally, the EAP program is approved by the Student and Visa Exchange Program (SEVP) to issue I-20s. We are also proud members of EnglishUSA and Study Tennessee.
