Return To Campus Plan
Lipscomb University's comprehensive plan to return to campus.Learn More
Beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year, the Middle School Bowling program is a relatively new sport at Lipscomb Academy Middle School. Our main purpose of the middle school program is to get our middle-grade students interested in the sport, as well as prepare them for our high school program.
We participate in a middle school bowling league formed at the Smyrna Bowling Center and bowl against teams from Rutherford, Wilson and Davidson counties. This team is a co-ed team comprised of sixth, seventh and eighth-graders.
With the renovation of the human performance weight room located at the Upper School, the enhanced performance center is accessible now for the entire student body. The renovations have expedited our ability to install methodologies based around teaching movement, core strength and proper lifting techniques. Sixteen racks, numerous dumbbell and kettlebell racks and increased space give the athletics program the necessary tools to teach effectively.
