Middle School Boys' Basketball

MIND. BODY. SOUL. Our Middle School boys’ basketball program strives to develop these three pillars within the Mustang student-athlete every day. We do this by chasing excellence in all we do. We have passion for the game of basketball and have been successful in the highly competitive Harpeth Valley Athletic Conference. However, our main goal is to teach life lessons through basketball that will prepare our young men for their futures as players and men of God.

Basketball Gymnasium

Originally opened in 1979, the first basket made in the Lipscomb Academy gym was by former Lipscomb University president Willard Collins. The full-size court facility was renovated in 1999.

Human Performance Weight Room

With the renovation of the human performance weight room located at the Upper School, the enhanced performance center is accessible now for the entire student body. The renovations have expedited our ability to install methodologies based around teaching movement, core strength and proper lifting techniques. Sixteen racks, numerous dumbbell and kettlebell racks and increased space give the athletics program the necessary tools to teach effectively.
