Middle and High School Celebrate Grandparents Day

By |

Lipscomb Academy is a community with a great deal of history and celebrating that history is important for students across our campus. Our annual Middle and High School Grandparents Day is one way to celebrate these generational connections while showcasing our students. Last week, Lipscomb Academy hosted its Middle and High School Grandparents Day, welcoming current grandparents to visit with their grandchildren and see the school.

This year a ceremony was held with the entire school to display the school's band, the middle and high school choirs, and the new strings program. A panel discussion also occurred about this year's spiritual formation theme - Walking With God.

The main points of this theme are that we need to truly acknowledge that we need a relationship with God. We are constantly walking with Him in our life. Whether we have been walking with God for 50 years or one day, we all have our a unique walk and a unique story. At Lipscomb Academy, we continue to explore ways to Walk with God and thank the many wonderful Grandparents and supporters who celebrated with us last week.
