Equip provides comprehensive academic resources, support and services for students.
The goals at Equip are for students to develop increased self-esteem, self-advocacy and academic success by working with each student to create a learning profile tailored to his/her academic strengths and goals. Equip partners with students, families and the school to ensure students are prepared to maximize their academic potential. Equip services include subject-matter tutoring, reading comprehension strategies, math skills development, memory and learning strategies, assessment and feedback. While not every student will require these fee-based services, every student could benefit from Equip.

Referrals for individual psychoeducational assessment
Communication of effective strategies, interventions and/or accommodations
Collaborative meetings between the student, parent, teachers, tutors and Equip Director

Lipscomb Academy is committed to providing accommodations through the Equip Program for students with learning differences who are otherwise qualified for admission. Lipscomb Academy and the Equip Program follow the Documentation Guidelines used by ACT Documentation Requirements.
