Group Leaders:

A group leader is either a youth minister or an adult who is responsible for bringing a group of teens to IMPACT. As a group leader your responsibilities are as follows:

• Register your group by completing the online application. 
• Pay the deposit of $25 per person (youth ministers, adults, chaperones, and campers) who plans to attend, either online or by mail.
• Submit all information by deadlines (see below).
• Register your group when you arrive at IMPACT.
• Organize your group devo each night.

IMPACT Deadline Date: May 24

You must confirm the number of spots you want for IMPACT and pay your balance by May 24. You can reduce the number of spots you want anytime before this date without penalty. A late fee of $25 will apply to additional spots after May 24.

Individual camper registration will be done online through a link that will be sent to you by email at a later date.

Prior to IMPACT, group leaders will receive an email with the Camper Information/Health Form link and another email with the Housing link, with instructions and due dates for each.

What to Bring:

Bring a sleeping bag or sheets, pillow, personal items, towels, regular camp clothes, $20 for a room key deposit (refunded at checkout), personal spending money, and a Bible.

You may also want to bring a tennis racket, ball glove, racquetball racket, frisbee, or a guitar.

Radios, TVs, laser pointers, electronics such as iPods, DVD players, iPads, computers etc. are not permitted. These items can easily be lost or stolen.

Alcohol, drugs (your counselor should be notified of any prescription drugs you are taking), fireworks, laser pointers, or any type of weapon are not allowed on campus. Any of these items will be taken by an IMPACT Staff person and held until the camper leaves at the end of IMPACT.

If you are coming with a youth group (or a friend's youth group):

You should see your youth minister/group leader. All communication regarding registration will be through your group leader.

If you are coming as an individual:

Please contact IMPACT@lipscomb.edu and an application will be sent to you.

Counselor applicants, please complete this online form. The online application will be open mid to late February.

Counselor applications received by May 1 should receive a response between May 7-14.  Any counselor applications received after May 7 should expect at least a week to hear back.

Counselors MUST ATTEND a training session that will begin Wednesday morning, June 17th.

Roadie or Security applicants, please fill out the online application. The online application will be open mid to late February.

Requirements and expectations to serve on the IMPACT staff:

• Counselors must currently be college age and have been out of high school at least one year.

• Roadies must graduate from high school by June 2021.

• Counselors/Security/Roadie must have willing spirit to serve and an exemplary Christian attitude at all times.

• Follow all IMPACT rules, guidelines and responsibilities as listed below.

Responsibilities for IMPACT staff:

Counselors

• Build relationships with your assigned group of campers
• Model and enforce IMPACT rules and guidelines

Security

• Serve and protect students
• Model and enforce all IMPACT rules and guidelines

Roadie

• Set-up for concerts, sessions, and all catered meals.
• Unload and set-up, break down, and load entertainer’s equipment and merchandise.
• Host entertainers and sell merchandise at concerts. 
• Serve as ushers for all sessions in the auditorium  

Protection Policy:

Lipscomb University has adopted the following policies to provide additional security for our campers. These policies are primarily for the protection of our campers, however, they also serve to protect counselors and leaders from false accusations of abuse.

• Two counselors are required on outings.
• One-on-one contact between counselor and camper is only permitted in situations that require a personal conference. Personal conferences should be conducted in view of other counselors and campers. Personal conferences not in view of other counselors and campers may take place only when special circumstances require. The counselor immediately shall inform an IMPACT leader of any such personal conference stating the camper’s name and the time and place of the conference.
• Counselors must respect the privacy of campers in situations such as changing clothes and taking showers, and intrude only to the extent that health and safety require. Counselors must protect their own privacy in similar situations.
