Assistant Professor Pharmacy
Dr. Gentry received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy in 2008. He then completed a specialty residency in Primary Care through the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and Holston Medical Group. Dr. Gentry joined the faculty at Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice. His most recent clinical practice site was in conjunction with the ETSU College of Nursing at the Johnson City Downtown Clinic which is a Federally Qualified Health Center. While at BGCOP, Dr. Gentry taught in and coordinated various courses, and served on multiple committees on the college, university, and community levels. He holds board certification in ambulatory care (BCACP) and is a certified diabetes educator (CDE).
