Dr. Phipps received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Montana in 1989, his Pharm.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1995, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky in 2000. Prior to coming to Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy, Dr. Phipps was a faculty member at Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy where his areas of academic teaching and coordinating included courses in basic pharmacology as well as cardiovascular, CNS, and antimicrobial pharmacology. Dr. Phipps was also a facilitation leader in the pharmacokinetics and therapeutics courses, and also taught cardiovascular pharmacology in the Physician Assistant program.
