Shannon Clark grew up in Nashville but has spent most of his life living and working elsewhere in the U.S. and abroad. He received a B.F.A. in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and an M.F.A. in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Some of his most recent work deals with the ways our modern collective thought reveals itself in certain forms of entertainment and how modern society is slowly replacing what have historically been regional identities.
As of this fall, Clark is an assistant professor of art at Lipscomb University.
