Venues at Lipscomb University

High quality catering is also available courtesy of SODEXO, with offices located conveniently on the Lipscomb University campus.

Allen Arena: This venue is used by the University for Chapel, campus-wide meetings, basketball games and volleyball matches. It is available to rent for concerts, lectures, dinners,  tradeshows and graduations. The Allen Arena has a capacity of 5028 for basketball games; up to 1000 for a seated dinner on the arena floor; and 3900 for a concert.  

Burton Center & Collins Alumni Auditorium: The beautifully rennovated Alumni Auditorium is used for lectures, concerts, and theatrical productions. The comfortable seating, excellent sightlines, and oustanding accoustics provide every guest with an outstanding experience.  The auditorium seats 450 on the main floor and 400 in the balcony for a total capacity of 850. 

Ezell Center: The Ezell Center boasts 21 classrooms, television and radio studios, a missions center to serve the hundreds of people who attend Lipscomb-coordinated mission trips each year, a chapel with an impressive stained glass window and a collaborative learning space with portable tables, chairs, whiteboards and walls.

Hughes Center & Ward Performance Hall: Originally constructed as a lecture hall in 1966, Ward Performance Hall has been transformed into an elegant performance space with ample stage area, a green room for performers and an extensive sound and light package. The renovated hall seats 250 and is home to the Lipscomb University Artist Series. It also hosts events for local music teachers and their students as well as guest lecturers for events such as the Christian Scholars' Conference and Summer Celebration.


 Bennett Campus Center:  The Campus Center is home to the Dining Hall and Food Court featuring Chick-Fil-A, Papa Johns, Blue Coast Burrito, Far East Asian, and Sub Connection.  Additionally, this venue hosts a variety of Conference rooms of varying sizes as well as the Shamblin Theater.  The uniquely styled theater can accommodate 250 guests between the main floor and balcony.  Complete with a performance stage, in-house lighting and sound system, Shamblin Theater is capable of hosting your next concert, theatrical performance, or reception.

Swang Business Center: The Swang Center is home to the Business, Accounting and English Departments at Lipscomb University.  Equipped with a large variety of classrooms, Swang is capable of accommodating your next lecture, seminar, or workshop.  Classrooms range in size from 24 seats to 82 seats and involve either flat, tiered, or theater style seating.
