$65 Annual JEA Teacher/Adviser Membership
If you join the Journalism Education Association through the Tennessee High School Press Association, JEA will allow THSPA to retain $5 to help our state association. If you are already a JEA member, you may renew through THSPA. Two memberships, one payment!
$40 Medium Evaluation
THSPA is offering evaluations for newspapers, yearbooks, literary magazines, broadcast stations, websites and online publications. A critique booklet will be filled out by a judge and returned to you. If you want your publication evaluated, add $40 to your membership check. Yearbooks and literary magazines from last year should be postmarked by Sept. 11 to THSPA; to save money, you may bring your publication to the Sept. 11 Fall Workshop. Send two issues of this year’s newspapers and/or send one copy of a news broadcast program by Jan. 12. You must be a member of THSPA to have an evaluation. Schools will receive certificates at the March 2018 Awards Ceremony.
Payment may be made by check (payable to THSPA), cash or purchase order. If postmarked by Aug. 31, the membership fee is $25; if postmarked later than Aug. 31, the fee is $45.
Return the membership form with payment to:
