Tim Baird is originally from Rolla, Missouri. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Bible from Harding University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Formerly University of Missouri-Rolla). Baird has taught Computer Science at Harding since 1981 and has chaired the Harding University Computer Science Department since 1994. In 2000 he played a central role in the establishment of Harding’s engineering program, which he chaired until 2006. His current teaching areas include programming, software engineering, data base, operating systems, and artificial intelligence. Since 1994 he has served as a database consultant for the Arkansas Dairy Cooperative.
