Clubs

SCI and SIGs

 

All School of Computing and Informatics students are encouraged to join a club for one of three SIGs depending on their majors.

  • ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) for CS majors

  • AITP (Association for IT Professionals) for IT and Web App Dev majors

  • ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) for Info Sec majors

 

Each SIG exists to serve students within SCI, with the focus defined by the primary major targeted. Each SIG will hold numerous events throughout the year that benefit members, such as:

  • Lectures from Nashville IT, CS, and Security professionals

  • Outreach events that share our blessings with others in the Nashville community

  • Fun events planned by the AITP, ACM, and ISSA leadership teams
