Graduate Advising:
The declaration of candidacy form/degree plan should be filled out within the first 3 - 6 hours as an unofficial guide, and again after 15 - 21 hours as an official degree plan. The second plan must be signed by the student and the ISP Executive Director by the semester in which the student plans to graduate.

In addition to reviewing the documents above, students must contact Wilmot Inc. to schedule an initial advising appointment. Email Sally Sawyer to schedule (ssawyer@wilmotinc.com).
ISP will reimburse each student for up to $500 for capstone course materials and up to $250 for all other independent study course materials (books, resources, exam fees, etc.). To receive a reimbursement, each student must submit actual receipts or copies of all receipts and a filled out Accounts Payable Check Request form. These documents must be turned in to the ISP office. Please note that reimbursements can take 15 - 45 days to process.
Exam Proctor Form:
Distance learning students may need an exam proctor to oversee examinations. Exam Proctor Form
Graduation:
Students must submit the Intent to Graduate form the semester PRIOR to the semester in which a student plans to graduate. For example, if a student plans to graduate in the spring, the form should be submitted before the end of the fall semester. A copy of the form should be sent to the ISP office and another copy must be sent to the Registrar's Office (fax it to 615.966.1808, email it to Graduation@Lipscomb.edu or bring it by the Registrar's Office, Crisman 220).
