"How can you say there are too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers,” (Mother Teresa). Life is my passion. My goal with pursuing a MS in Sustainability is to become equipped with the necessary tools to change society’s current mindset that our children are a burden and that overpopulation is the reason for the eventual demise of humankind’s quality of life. There has to be a way to stretch natural resources to accommodate for the fluxes in population without compromising the preciousness of life. I want to be able to teach the next generation that all life is valuable, and really believe it myself, knowing that humanity is capable of eliminating worldwide starvation.
