The study of sustainability exposes students to the systemic and cyclical nature of the world. Therefore, it broadens our perspective of the impacts of our day to day activities and gives us the ability to solve problems created by the short-sighted and narrow-minded society in which we live. It is a discipline valuable to all people both personally and professionally.
