Message from the Office of the Provost
Announcement Date: November 1, 2011
To All University Faculty:
We are accepting faculty grant proposals for Innovative Course Grants and Technology Enhancement Grants for Wintermester 2012-13. Wintermester is a great time to offer students new and innovative classes that can’t be offered in a regular semester. Wintermester online courses also help students to be able to include academic courses in their schedules, which may already include plans for work, vacation, mission trips and visits home.
To support the development of these innovative and online learning opportunities, we are pleased to continue offering the following faculty grants:
Click on the links above to learn more about each of these grants and the proposal process. All faculty course grant proposals for Wintermester 2012-13 are due February 15, 2012.
Faculty interested in learning more about the technology we have available on campus that can be used in a Technology Enhancement Grant proposal should consult with Al Austelle, Director of the Center for Instructional Technology.
Since 2009, we have awarded 41 faculty grants for creating innovative and technology-enhanced courses. We plan to fund multiple grants in each category, so I encourage you to submit a proposal for one or both of these grant opportunities.
Thank you for your continued creative work to enhance student learning at Lipscomb University!
