Summer Success Program
On Campus: July 10-13 and August 11-12, 2012
Online: June 15-July 9 and July 14-August 10
The Summer Success Program is for students admitted to Lipscomb University in the incoming freshman class. Summer Success focuses on enhancing academic skills in reading, English and mathematics and providing strategies for effective learning.
Completing the Summer Success math and English courses prior to fall is important because it allows students to register in the fall for freshman-level math and Lipscomb Seminar, where students begin to build community with their peers and faculty members. In addition to the academic courses, Summer Success also provides students with an orientation to college life in general and to Lipscomb University specifically. Students will build their self-esteem and confidence as they learn new study skills and habits necessary for being successful in a rigorous academic program.
