Coordinator of African American Services
Paulette Cathey is the Coordinator of African-American Students Services in the Intercultural Development Office. She graduated with a BBA in Management from Harding University in 1989. Paulette worked as a social worker with Metro Government and served as a chaplain assistant at St. Thomas Hospital. Most recently she has been employed by Metro Nashville Public Schools as a Family & Youth Services Assistant, working mainly with at-risk students to help them reach graduation. She and her husband, Dr. Damon Cathey, an executive principal with MNPS, have worshipped at Woodmont Hills Church of Christ since 1992, where he serves as an elder. They have three children.
