Lisa Steele

Assistant Dean of Intercultural Development

As Assistant Dean and Director of Intercultural Development at Lipscomb University, Lisa helps to prepare students academically, spiritually, socially, and professionally to impact purposeful change on campus and in the community as well as to become culturally competent leaders in an increasingly diverse world. Lisa works with students, faculty and staff to bridge cultures and promote diversity. She is also the Coordinator of Latino Student Services and serves as the advisor to Futuro and LULAC (League of Latin American Citizens).
Lisa is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a Master of Arts in Civic Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and French. She is fluent in Spanish and French and competent in German and Arabic. She is on the board of directors of Futuro and Restore Ministries and is the president of the board with The Branch of Nashville.
