Service Opportunities

The service component of spiritual life is very important to all levels of the Lipscomb Academy.

The Elementary school offers grade level opportunities for service as well as being involved yearly with St. Jude Hospital and the Jump Rope for Heart Organization.

The student governments of the Middle and High Schools plan service projects because we recognize that students need to seek out their own opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities.

There are school wide opportunities for service such as The Red Cross Blood Drive, The Arthritis Walk, and the Organization for Breast Cancer Awareness Week. Students are also encouraged to respond to immediate needs for service opportunities when crises arise, such as an outreach to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake in an effort for clean water and help for Nashville flood victims, which occurred in May of 2010.
