Spiritual Formation

At DLCS, we believe nothing is more important than preparing young people for a life of service to God and to others. Our Christ-centered educational approach seeks to teach the power of love, grace and forgiveness, instilling these qualities in practical ways while building a foundation for life-long spiritual service.

This philosophy is reinforced at all grade levels from Pre-Kindergarten through high school. Students experience powerful stories and life-instructions on a daily basis through age-appropriate Bible classes. Students participate in a daily devotional, prayer and worship time through planned Chapel gatherings. And, beyond in-school events, students may choose to become involved with a wide range of service-oriented organizations or projects, enriching their own lives in addition to helping others.

DLCS’s focus on spiritual formation ensures students are not simply taught facts for living, but also how to live according to God’s purpose.
