Description:

A study rhetorical strategies used to write about both formal and informal topics. Entails the analysis of prose styles, stresses organization and presentation of information and ideas, the presentation of a case or formal argument, and adaptation of a stance to fit the particular audience.
As a part of this course, students spend time throughout the semester tutoring and mentoring at-risk youth through the YMCA Literacy Program.
