The SALT Center Mission
- To coordinate efforts to integrate The SALT Program into the mainstream of the Lipscomb community.
- To support students, SALT experience facilitators (faculty and staff) and community partners in their collaborative service-learning efforts and goals.
- To facilitate a shared understanding of service-learning among SALT experience facilitators and community partners.

To support collaborative assessment and refinement of the processes associated with service-learning among SALT experience participants (students, facilitators and community partners).

Christin earned her Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Delaware, and specialized in Nonprofit Leadership. Before coming to Lipscomb, Christin’s professional experiences included work with the national service program, AmeriCorps*VISTA, the Delaware State Office of Volunteerism and the Delaware Governor’s Commission on Community and Volunteer Service.
She has experience with grant writing, managing volunteer staff, and building collaborative partnerships with local government, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and community members.
Christin has seen firsthand the transformational potential of service-learning for all participants, and is excited to be a part of the continued development of service-learning at Lipscomb. Christin received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
