Lipscomb University

Student Alumni Association

What is the Student Alumni Association
(SAA) at Lipscomb University?

It is a service organization on campus made up of university Student Ambassadors. The goals of the SAA are threefold: 1. To promote effective communication between students, alumni, and donors, 2. to educate current students about the importance of being a good alumnus, and 3. to assist the Offices of the President and Advancement in achieving university goals. The SAA seeks to enhance the student experience at Lipscomb through its Students Surprises and Student Birthday Cake programs. Also, the SAA members serve as student hosts for important university functions such as donor recognition dinners and in the President's Suite at Allen Arena. SAA also assists the office of Advancement Event Planning with set-up and break-down of events.

The mission of the Lipscomb University Student Alumni Association is to serve as a liaison and facilitate an active relationship between students and alumni; to cultivate future alumni leaders; and to advance unity within the university community by promoting activities and preserving traditions to strengthen lifelong loyalty to Lipscomb University.
